The BSO Express rolled through the streets of Benton this past Saturday, stealing the show at the annual Benton Christmas Parade. The crowd was left in awe as they witnessed the float, complete with a working smokestack and an engine so realistic it seemed ready to hit the tracks. Sheriff Whittington, accompanied by his wife Melissa, proudly occupied the front seats, throwing an assortment of candy and goodies to the crowd. Meanwhile, the “engineer”, Lt. Billy Jones, skillfully maneuvered the parade route, ensuring a smooth ride for all. Deputy Cedric Payne, serving as the “conductor”, diligently watched over the passengers, ensuring their safety and guaranteeing a lot of fun.
Sheriff Whittington commended Lt. Jones and his dedicated crew for their tireless efforts in preparing the float for the parade. Their commitment, coupled with tons of creativity, resulted in a lifelike experience for all those fortunate enough to witness the spectacle.
The BSO Express truly stole the spotlight and will roll again this Saturday at the Haughton Christmas Parade.
