Dillon Brown, a second grader from Legacy Elementary, donates his time and his talent in making these hand-made crosses for anyone who will receive one, but especially for law enforcement officers.

The generosity and love of one person can go a long way in affecting an organization. Sheriff Whittington said, “It takes a special person to show their love and respect for law enforcement, and Dillon has done just that.”
When asked why he decided to make crosses Dillon said, ‘I wanted to make people happy.”

Dillon and his grandmother, Leslie Reynolds, spend countless hours in crafting these heavenly jewels and Dillon had the pleasure of presenting them to Sheriff Whittington. They are busy making more of these special charms to pass out to all our patrol deputies because Dillon believes they will help others who do a real tough job.
