Sheriff Julian Whittington would like to thank Michelle Thomas for her countless volunteer hours to the citizens of Bossier Parish as a Mounted Patrol Deputy. Sheriff Whittington presented Michelle with a plaque for her years of voluntary service from 2013-2024. Over the years, Michelle has been a huge help to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and the Viking Drive Substation by bringing her horse to meet and greet the children who attended field trips at the Substation. She is now moving to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
