The Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 141 of Shreveport recently made a generous donation to Operation Christmas Wish by donating 30 bicycles for children in need in Bossier Parish.
The bicycles were assembled by the apprentices of Shreveport Pipe Trades while attending Local 141’s apprenticeship school.
“The Plumbers and Steamfitters can always be counted on to come through with an assortment of bicycles for kids every year, they are definitely a part of why Operation Christmas Wish is always so successful”, said Sheriff Whittington.
