On Wednesday, the Bossier Sheriff’s Office was blessed to receive a large donation from Airline High School for the Operation Blessing Food Pantry. All in all, the students collected 6 barrels of canned foods that will be distributed to less fortunate families throughout Bossier Parish. Captain Doug Lauter and his staff at the Viking Drive Substation were amazed by the commitment and dedication of these students to give back to their community.
Operation Blessing began in 1988 with its focus being on feeding less fortunate families in Bossier Parish. The program relies on year-round support from businesses, organizations, and individuals in our community.
Sheriff Whittington would like to thank AHS Principal Justin James, the AHS Faculty and Staff, and AHS students for contributing to such a great cause.
