SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together)/Triad - A three way agreement between the Bossier Sheriff's Office, the AARP and the Bossier City Police Department. Its goal is to reduce the criminal victimization of older citizens and enhance the delivery of law enforcement services to this population.

Some of the programs that fall under the SALT/Triad umbrella and are administered by the Posse/Auxiliary at the Substation are:

  • Elderly Crime Victim Assistance
  • Christmas Food Boxes
  • Operation Santa Claus
  • Senior Citizen Safety and Awareness
