Two Arrested For Cocaine Possession

June 12, 2009 3:00 p.m. NEWS RELEASE TWO ARRESTED FOR COCAINE POSSESSION | | | Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says two men were arrested early this morning for possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container. Billy J. O’Brian White, 30, of the 100 block of H. White Road in Benton, and Stephen L. Thomas, 26, of the 100 block of Flourney in Oil City, were taken into custody after they were stopped by a Bossier Sheriff’s deputy at the intersection of South Arkansas and Washington Street in Plain Dealing on a drive-by shooting complaint. A search of their vehicle yielded a spoon with cocaine residue, a knife with cocaine residue and a rolled-up one dollar bill with cocaine residue. The deputy also found an open vodka bottle in the vehicle. The drive-by shooting complaint is still under investigation while White and Thomas are incarcerated at the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. Their bonds were set at $4,200 each.
