PLAIN DEALING MAN/JUVENILE ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY

Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Plain Dealing man has been arrested for aggravated burglary, two counts of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. A 16 year old juvenile has also been arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and simple burglary.
Christopher D. Dillard, 21, of the 900 block of Log Ferry Road, was taken into custody Thursday morning after he and the juvenile were captured on video in the process of burglarizing a residence. They stole $27 in cash and $7 of it was recovered, along with the clothing they wore during the burglary.
Under questioning, Dillard admitted he burglarized the same residence on or about March 22, 2009, at which time he stole $275 cash. He also told Bossier Sheriff’s investigators he burglarized the same residence on or about April 22, 2009, at which time he stole an assault rifle and approximately $400 cash. Dillard later provided information regarding the location of the assault rifle and it has since been recovered.
Dillard was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond was set at $90,000. The juvenile was arrested and placed in the custody of his parents.
