Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Haughton man has been arrested for domestic abuse battery.
Scott Christopher Boyd, 39, of the 8700 block of Edgewood Drive, was taken into custody Friday night after he and his wife of ten years got into a verbal confrontation that turned physical. Boyd and his wife were arguing over money problems when he slammed her arm and face against the wall in the garage. She sustained injuries to the left side of her face with scratches on her left forearm. She also sustained a swollen bottom lip.
Boyd was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. Bond was set at $5,000.
