Haughton Couple Arrested For Marijuana Possession/Cultivation

9 a.m. NEWS RELEASE HAUGHTON COUPLE ARRESTED FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION/CULTIVATION | | | A Haughton couple has been arrested for the possession and cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, Sheriff Deen said today.
James Edward Thornhill, 47, and Glenda Gilbert McCraw, 61, both of the 3300 block of Trailview Circle, were taken into custody Sunday after Bossier Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call. When they arrived, they asked for permission to come inside and look around to make sure everything was O.K.
Once inside, the deputies detected a very strong odor of marijuana coming from an office off of a hallway. They entered the office, opened a closet door and found 4-5 marijuana plants being cultivated.
Thornhill and McCraw, who are boyfriend and girlfriend, were transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. Thornhill’s bond was set at $17,000 and McCraw’s was set at $15,500.
