Uncle and Nephew Arrested for Illegal Possession of Stolen Tools

A man and his nephew were arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning for illegal possession of stolen things and other charges.

James Edward Glaze, Jr., 40, of the 4100 block of Southern Avenue in Shreveport and Joshua Gage Sullivan, 18, of the 100 block of Stiles Road in Frierson, were traveling north on Airline Drive when deputies pulled them over for swerving. A check through dispatch revealed that the license plate on the truck was stolen, and Glaze had a suspended driver's license. Sullivan was found to be in possession of a glass smoking device. During an inventory of the vehicle, an estimated $10,000 worth of stolen tools were found. The items were reported missing out of Shreveport.

Glaze and Sullivan were both arrested and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking. Glaze is charged with illegal possession of stolen things, and driving under suspension. His bond is set at $10,400. Sullivan is charged with illegal possession of stolen things and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $5,500.
