Princeton Man Arrested for Theft

A Princeton man was arrested Friday afternoon for felony theft.

Anthony Richard Rushing, 29, of Acorn Hill Loop, admitted to detectives that he took a part off of a track hoe, not belonging to him. He then took the piece of equipment to a scrap yard in Shreveport and sold it for $20. According to the victim, the piece cost approximately $1000 to replace.

Rushing was taken to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking. His bond was set at $3500.
