A Haughton man was arrested early this morning after deputies determined he was intoxicated when he crashed his vehicle on Highway 80 near Country Place subdivision.

Todd C. Bozeman, 41, of the 100 block of South Meadow, was found standing near his overturned vehicle just after 3 a.m. Friday. Bozeman was driving the vehicle with one passenger when they were somehow involved in a one-vehicle accident. When deputies arrived on the scene, they checked the occupants for injuries, but noticed Bozeman appeared unsteady on his feet and had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Deputies conducted a Standardized Field Sobriety Test on Bozeman, in which he performed poorly. He also blew a .139% BAC with an Intoxilyzer sample.

Bozeman was charged with DWI 1st and careless operation and then transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility with a bond of $1,200.
