A Shreveport man was arrested on Christmas Eve on multiple drug possession charges, after being found asleep behind the wheel in a parking lot.
William Cody Bagley, 26, of the 3400 block of Hickory Ridge in Shreveport, was located in the parking lot of a closed business around 11:00 p.m. Christmas Eve. A deputy approached the vehicle and saw Bagley asleep, slumped over to the side with a cigarette in his mouth and a lighter in his hand. The vehicle was in drive, and Bagley had his foot on the brake pedal. The deputy also noticed a tobacco like substance all over the driver's lap and shirt, as well as an unopened beer can in the cup holder.
While waiting for another deputy to arrive, the car began to roll forward because Bagley's foot had slipped off of the brake. Luckily, the deputy was able to wake Bagley and get him to put the vehicle in park. The deputy then saw what appeared to be a half-smoked blunt lying in the car. Bagley exited the vehicle and was read his rights. Deputies then found one bottle with three different types of pills inside, none of which matched the label on the outside of the bottle. The pills were identified as Adderall schedule II, Xanax schedule IV, and a legend drug. Inside a pack of opened cigarettes, they found a plastic bag containing 20 Stanozol schedule III pills. In the console of the vehicle, they found a vial of liquid steroid.
Bagley was arrested and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. His bond was set at $17,500. He is charged with possession of schedule II, possession of schedule III (2 counts), possession of schedule IV and possession of a legend drug.
