James E. Goodwin, 34, and Taylor R. Grosjean, 20, of the 1300 block of Elm in Minden, were heading west on East Texas St. shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday when Bossier deputies initiated a traffic stop because of obstruction of view from items dangling from the rear view mirror. Upon contact with the Goodwin, the driver, deputies found a bag of suspected marijuana on his person. Grosjean was a passenger in the vehicle, along with her two three-month-old babies. Consent was given to search the vehicle, and deputies found a wooden dugout with a smoking device located in the passenger side door.

Goodwin and Grosjean were charged with possession of schedule I (marijuana) - second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor. Goodwin was also charged with driving under suspension and vision obstruction. They were transported to the Bossier Maximum Correctional Facility for booking, and their bonds are pending. The babies were turned over to a family member.
