Bossier Teen Arrested for Passing Counterfeit $20 for Skittles

A Bossier teen was arrested yesterday for possessing and passing forged United States currency.

Coutrell Demon Johnson, 19, of the 300 block of Edwards Street, admitted to investigators that he possessed two counterfeit $20 bills. On two separate occasions, he attempted to pass the forged $20 bills at Bossier High School to purchase candy and snacks.

The first time, Johnson was successful in passing the fake bill for the purchase of some Skittles. On his second attempt, he and a juvenile accomplice tried to purchase multiple snacks to share but were unsuccessful in their attempt.

Johnson was arrested and booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. His bond was set at $1500. The juvenile accomplice was also apprehended and charged with forgery. He was released back into parental custody.
