Bossier Sheriff's detectives conducted a narcotics investigation at two residences Wednesday evening after they had received information of possible meth labs at residences in the 10 block of Briarwood Lane in Princeton and the 100 block of Jodie Lane in Haughton.

Upon contact with the homeowners at the residence on Briarwood, detectives were given verbal consent to search the house. During the search, various drugs and drug paraphernalia items were found in the home. A "shake-and-bake" meth lab was found under the kitchen sink, and a marijuana pipe with marijuana residue was found in the living room. Additionally, meth, marijuana and smoking devices and components of a meth lab were found in the three bedrooms. During the search, a 7-year-old child was also present.

Arrested at the house on Briarwood Lane were:
• Elizabeth Michelle Herring, 19, of Summerfield, Louisiana
• Emily Rose Green, 35, Briarwood Lane
• James Richard Lacour, Jr., 37, Briarwood Lane
• Kristina Nicole Bodie, 29, Briarwood Lane
• Brian Lambright, 38, Briarwood Lane

Each was charged with manufacture of schedule II (meth), possession of schedule I (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and cruelty to a juvenile. Additionally, Bodie and Lambright were charged with possession of schedule II (meth), and Lacour faces a separate, unrelated charge for a probation violation.

During a separate investigation, Bossier Sheriff's detectives contacted the residents at the house on Jodie Lane, and a man (Troutman) unsuccessfully attempted to flee out of a rear window. After receiving consent to search the house and the vehicle at the residence, numerous drugs and drug paraphernalia were found. Agents seized approximately two grams of methamphetamine, Klonopin, Clonazepam, Xanax, scales, and components of a Red Phosphorous meth lab. All of those arrested at the residence admitted to using controlled dangerous substances in the presence of three minor children.

Arrested at the house on Jodie Lane were:
• Ronald Leon Troutman, 52, of the 800 block of Highway 164
• Michelle Leigh Elder, 33, of the 100 block of Jodie Lane
• Joel Lee Thomas, 38, of Morrilton, Ark.
• Andrea Michelle Cory, 37, of Wooster, Ark.
• Bethany Morgan Helton, 22, of Conway, Ark.

Each was charged with manufacture of schedule II (meth), possession of schedule II (meth), possession of schedule IV (3 counts), possession of drug paraphernalia, cruelty to juveniles (3 counts) and use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor. Additionally, Troutman was charged with resisting by flight, and Helton was arrested on a fugitive warrant out of Arkansas.

All 10 arrested were transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking, and their bonds are pending.

Bossier Sheriff's narcotics agents expect more arrests as in the investigation continues.
