A Magnolia, Ark., man was arrested for DWI after he was found to be twice the legal BAC limit after a deputy stopped him for improper lane usage on Highway 80.
George C. Williams, 53, was driving his Toyota Tundra down Highway 80 Friday night when a deputy observed him driving between lanes. When the deputy made contact with Williams, he smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverages on the driver's breath. Williams also had slurred speech and performed poorly on the Standard Field Sobriety Test. He submitted to an Intoxilyzer sample which resulted in .161% BAC, twice the legal limit.
Williams was charged with DWI and improper lane usage and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking, where his bond is set at $1,200.
