Dispatch Center
Your Bossier Sheriff’s Office uses a computer-aided dispatch system, or C.A.D. Data is stored in a computer and can be called up at a moment’s notice giving dispatchers instant access to information that can be shared with deputies concerning outstanding warrants, previous problems with individuals and the likelihood of that person being armed.
The C.A.D. system also helps keep track of every call received and records how long it takes to handle each call.
The Bossier Sheriff’s communications officers answer an average 250,000 phone calls each year.
For help from the Bossier Sheriff’s Office at any time, 24/7, call 318-965-2203.
